The avatar age is the difference between the creation date of the avatar (account) and the date when
the avatar was first detected by our counters. For example, the average age of avatars first detected in August 2007
is 83.1 days.
We notice an increase in avatar age from 75 days in the beginning of 2007 to 123 days in
March 2008.
One possible reason for this age increase is the lower influx of new avatars.
Other residents/shop owners have also
noticed
this age increase.
